The Insurance Factory policy details
The Insurance Factory provides three types of car insurance for their customers:
Third party
This is the lowest level of car cover offered by The Insurance Factory and also represents the minimum legal requirement that you need to drive on UK roads. If you are you’re in an accident, you’ will be covered for damage to other people’s vehicles and any injuries sustained to others. However, you and your car will not be covered.
Third party, fire and theft
The Insurance Factory offers third-party, fire & theft (TPFT) car insurance policies. Along with giving you the minimum level of cover you get with third-party insurance, TPFT means your car will also be insured against damage caused by fire and theft.
Fully comprehensive
The third type of car insurance offered by The Insurance Factory is fully comprehensive cover. This gives you everything you get with a TPFT policy, but also means you and your car are insured even for accidents where you are to blame.
Other enhanced benefits
The Insurance Factory car cover tends to include driving in the EU as standard. It can also include a range of other enhanced benefits such as personal accident cover, depending on which insurer from its panel the policy is provided by.
Personal accident cover means you and potentially your partner/children could get compensation for certain injuries or death in an accident.
The Insurance Factory offers a selection of car insurance policies and types. Not all policies and types are available through our site, so the exact levels of cover and benefits may vary. Before buying car insurance, we recommend you check the cover and benefits included.
