Who is Cedar Tree travel insurance?

Cedar Tree is a subsidiary of Gibraltar-based insurance intermediary World Wide Internet Insurance Services. AXA underwrites all Cedar Tree travel insurance policies, which include single trip and multi-trip cover. The firm is licenced by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.

The brand concentrates on providing premium travel insurance to customers who value the support offered as part of their cover. It offers three cover levels, all of which provide £15 million of emergency medical protection.

Cedar Tree believes too many insurers, and customers for that matter, focus on the bottom line rather than the quality of their policies. Its core aim is to give “the highest standard of cover to enable a safe and enjoyable holiday for everyone.”

Industry experts appear to concur with positive Cedar Tree Insurance reviews and accolades in recent times. It was named Forbes Advisor Best of 2022 for travel insurance, after winning Travel Insurance Provider of the Year at the MoneyFacts Consumer Awards 2020.

In terms of expert study, independent financial analyst Defaqto has awarded Cedar Tree’s Gold and Platinum policies five-star ratings. The Silver policy has four stars.

Customers have also delivered their verdict on Cedar Tree’s offerings. TrustPilot has accumulated over 5,000 Cedar Tree Insurance reviews from the public, with the broker being given an “excellent” 4.8 out of five stars. A recent reviewer praised “fast, efficient service, used before and would use again”.

Consumer group Fairer Finance echoes the opinion of Cedar Tree customers. Its financial experts have awarded the broker’s Silver, Gold and Platinum four stars out of a possible five.
