Traveltime travel insurance policy details
Traveltime offers three levels of its annual and single-trip travel insurance. These are Economy, Premier and PremierPlus cover. Each cover level has its own key features and limits.
Economy cover offers:
Cancellation cover up to £1,000 if your trip is cancelled or curtailed, or in the event of abandonment.
Emergency medical treatment up to £5 million if you require emergency medical care and repatriation to the UK.
Dental care cover up to £200 to cover any emergency dental treatment you require during your trip. This cover level is the same with Premier and PremierPlus.
Additional accommodation and travelling costs up to £500 to cover non-refundable extra accommodation and travel expenses.
Personal accident cover up to £5,000 following an accident in which the insured’s injured. The limit is £1,000 if the injured party’s either under 15 years old or over 65.
Baggage cover for lost or damaged baggage. You can claim up to £500 for lost or damaged baggage, or up to £50 for delayed baggage. Damaged or loss to a specified single item or set is limited to £150. The pay-out limit for valuables is £200.
Personal money up to £150 for lost or stolen cash. This limit’s £100 maximum for under 18s.
Legal expenses cover up to £5,000 to help cover the cost of defending a court case for injury to another person or for damage to their personal property.
Premier cover offers:
Cancellation cover up to £2,000 if your trip is cancelled or curtailed, or in the event of trip abandonment.
Emergency medical treatment up to £8 million if you need emergency medical care and repatriation to the UK.
Hospital benefit up to £500 to cover sundry costs, such as for meals, while receiving emergency treatment in a hospital.
Additional accommodation and travelling costs up to £1,000 to cover non-refundable extra accommodation and travel expenses.
Personal accident cover up to £15,000 following an accident in which the insured has been injured. This limit is reduced to £1,000 if the injured party’s either under 15 years or over 65.
Baggage cover up to £1,000 for lost or damaged baggage, or up to £100 for delayed baggage. Damaged or loss to a specified single item or set is limited to £200. The pay-out limit for valuables is £300.
Personal money cover up to £175 for lost or stolen cash. The limit’s £125 for under 18s.
Emergency passport replacement. If your passport’s lost or stolen you can claim up to £175 to cover replacement costs.

PremierPlus cover offers:
Cancellation cover up to £4,000 if your trip is cancelled or curtailed, or in the event of abandonment.
Emergency medical treatment up to £10 million if you require emergency medical care and repatriation to the UK.
Hospital benefit up to £1,000 to cover sundry costs, such as for meals, while receiving emergency treatment in a hospital.
Additional accommodation and travelling costs up to £2,000 to cover non-refundable extra accommodation and travel expenses.

Emergency passport replacement if your passport’s lost or stolen. You can claim up to £300 to cover the cost of getting a replacement.
