Quotemehappy home insurance policy details
Quotemehappy offers three levels of buildings insurance and contents insurance, which are the Essentials, Essentials Plus and Premier policies
If your home is declared uninhabitable, following an accepted claim, all three levels of buildings insurance will cover reasonable costs relating to loss of rent and securing alternative accommodation while your home is being repaired to inhabitable standard.
If your home is destroyed or damaged while you’re selling it, the insurer could help ensure your buyer doesn’t pull out. There’s a clause in the policy that means the house buyer would be entitled to any benefit offered under the policy upon completion.
As you’d expect, certain benefits are only available if you buy the higher-level policies. Full details of what is and isn't included can be found if you click through to the Quotemehappy website after getting a quote.
A number of benefits are included as standard across the three levels of Quotemehappy’s contents insurance policies. These include:
- Cover for spoiled food in freezers
- Replacement locks
- Reasonable rent and temporary accommodation
- Cover for contents that are temporarily removed from the home
Certain benefits are only available as standard if you buy an Essentials Plus or Premier policy. Among these is protection to cover the costs of preparing new title deeds and claims resulting from household removals. Some benefits are included on all policies but have increased levels of cover depending on the policy. For example, protection against losses relating to religious festivals or wedding gifts is included on all policies but Essentials Plus and Premier policies offer an increased sum insured during these periods.
Premier policy holders also benefit from being able to claim for damage to part of a matching set, such as a three-piece suite. In which case Quotemehappy will replace the whole set if the damaged element can’t be repaired of sourced.
