More Than Smart Wheels policy details
Insurers typically sell three levels of car insurance cover. However, More Than doesn’t sell third-party only, which is the lowest level of cover that’s legal to have if you want to drive on UK roads. This option covers damage or injury to other vehicles or people only.
The two levels of car insurance that More Than offers are:
- Third-party, fire and theft cover :This is like third-party only cover, but it'll also cover your car if it’s stolen or damaged through fire.
- Comprehensive cover – This will cover all of the above, plus any loss or damage to your car, plus injury to you or any of your passengers.
There are a number of benefits that you can expect as standard on a car insurance policy. However, here are a few highlights in More Than’s comprehensive policy:
- Personal accident cover: this gives you or your partner a lump sum of up to £5,000 if either of you is involved in a serious accident.
- Personal belongings cover: if your car is broken into and you lose valuables, such as a satnav or a jacket, More Than will stump up the first £250.
- Child car seat replacement: if your car is involved in an accident, More Than will replace your child car seat – even if it doesn’t look damaged.
- Misfuelling: top your engine up with the wrong fuel and the insurer will arrange for your engine, pipes and tank to be flushed, if need be. An excess applies.
More Than offers a selection of car insurance policies and types. Not all policies and types are available through our site, so the exact levels of cover and benefits may vary. Before buying car insurance, we recommend you check the cover and benefits included.
