How do I claim?

To be eligible to claim the reward, you’ll need to have purchased a single annual car insurance policy through www.confused.com between 30th August 2019 and 30th September 2019.

Here's what you do:

  1. Buy a single annual car insurance policy through Confused.com.

  2. Log into your Confused.com account and select Fuel Reward. Complete the application using the quote linked to your purchase*.

  3. Once we've verified your application, we'll send you an email containing a voucher code and link to Texaco Star Rewards.

  4. Complete your Texaco Star Rewards registration, verify your account and your voucher will be sent to you in the post.

  5. Save £20 on fuel by using your voucher at any Texaco station. Find your nearest Texaco station here.

Who qualifies for £20 free Texaco fuel reward?

Anyone who has purchased a single annual car insurance policy through Confused.com between 30th August and 30th September 2019.

Is there a time limit to the promotion?

The £20 free Texaco fuel promotion starts on 30th August 2019 and ends on 30th September 2019.

How long have I got to apply?

You’ll have 30 days from getting the quote linked to your qualifying purchase to apply.

How many times can I apply?

You can only claim one per single annual car insurance policy purchased in accordance with the terms and conditions of this offer.

How do I claim my £20 free Texaco fuel reward?

Once you have purchased a single annual car insurance policy through Confused.com, complete our Fuel Reward Application.  We’ll then verify your purchase and if successful send you an email containing everything you need to redeem the fuel reward. As we need to verify your purchase with your provider, this could take up to 90 days. Applying using the correct provider and policy number may help us to approve your claim quicker.

What happens after I apply?

Once we’ve verified your purchase, you’ll be sent an email containing a link to Texaco Star Rewards and your unique code.

Once you’ve clicked the link in your email, sign up to Texaco Star Rewards. You must do this within 30 days of receiving the email.

You’ll then receive a verification email from Texaco that will confirm your registration and give you instructions to follow to complete your sign up.

When will I receive my Texaco Fuel vouchers?

Once you’ve received your reward email, signed up to Star Rewards and verified your account, your voucher will be sent to you in the post within 10 working days.

Can I back date the claim?

The reward is only valid for qualifying purchases made from 30th August and 30th September 2019.

What can I use my Texaco vouchers for?

Texaco vouchers are exchangeable at any Texaco service station in the United Kingdom as payment for fuel, shop products or car wash up to the value stated on the voucher, or as part payment for fuel, shop products or car wash of a higher value on payment of the difference. How long are the Texaco vouchers valid?

The vouchers are valid until the date stated on the voucher.

Is there a minimum spend associated to the voucher?

You don’t have to spend a minimum amount at a Texaco service station to use the voucher. However, if you use a voucher for a purchase that amounts to less than the value of that voucher, no change will be given.

What is Star Rewards?

Star Rewards is the loyalty scheme that makes every visit to a Texaco Service Station more rewarding.

You can collect points quickly and easily and then exchange them for great rewards. When you use your Texaco Star Rewards card you’ll get 1 point for every litre of fuel, and with Texaco Star Rewards, 500 points is worth a £5 voucher. For more information please visit https://starrewards.co.uk.

After registering with Star Rewards, you’ll receive a welcome letter containing your Star Rewards Card to allow you to start collecting points when you fill up at a Texaco service station.

I’m already a Star Rewards member, will I still receive the £20 free Texaco fuel reward?

Yes, existing Texaco Star Rewards members will need to log in to their Texaco Star Rewards account and enter the unique code contained in the reward email on the ‘my profile’ page under ‘promotional code’ to redeem the voucher.

Do I need my Texaco Star Rewards card to use my voucher?

No, but if you use your Texaco Star Rewards card you’ll be able to collect points in addition to using the Texaco voucher.

I live in Scotland, there are no Texaco service stations here

Due to the unavailability of Texaco service stations in Scotland, customers with a Scottish postal address who make a qualifying purchase between 30th August and 30th September 2019 are eligible to receive a £20 cheque alternative.

You’ll still need to complete our Fuel Reward Application and we will have to verify your purchase before you receive the cheque. Once we have verified your purchase you’ll receive the cheque within 10 working days. If you’d like to, you can still select the Texaco fuel voucher but you won’t be able to receive both the voucher and cheque alternative.

What if I have cancelled my car insurance within the policy cancellation period?

Policies that are cancelled during the policy cancellation period for any reason will not be eligible to receive the fuel reward.

I haven’t received my email with details about my fuel reward, what can I do?

If it’s been more than 90 days since you applied and you haven’t received an email containing more details about how to claim, please email us at communications@confused.com and we’ll look into this for you.

I still haven’t received my Texaco voucher after signing up to Texaco Star Rewards?

If it’s been more than 10 working days since you signed up to Texaco Star Rewards and verified your account, please visit https://starrewards.valero.com/contact.
