  • How are price rises calculated?

Some providers set annual price rises to cover predicted changes in service costs. This is usually linked to inflation, but from January 2025 they have to tell you the exact amount upfront.

In our breakdown, we've assumed your first bill will be next month, and your billing date falls after the date any price rises come into place.

Customers must purchase the deal directly from the retailer's website. Prices, plan names and offers all based on information received from suppliers. Deals and vouchers offered are subject to availability and may not be available to existing customers. Until 2024, many mobile networks have increased contract prices in line with inflation. Starting in January 2025, Ofcom will introduce a ban on inflation-linked price hikes for new contracts. Future price changes will need to be set and fully disclosed in pounds and pence.
