Nightmare neighbours forced more than 360,000 people to relocate last year, according to a new study.
The survey of 2,000 adults by Halifax Home Insurance found the number of homeowners who put up the 'for sale' sign as a result of irritating neighbours has jumped by a third since 2008.

As large numbers of sellers returned to the property market, the average house price rose by just £216 in March.
The 0.1% monthly increase was the lowest ever recorded for the month, according to housing website Rightmove, and compared with an average jump of 1.3% for the period during the previous eight years.

Mortgage lending dived by 49% following the end of the Government's stamp duty holiday, figures have revealed.
The Council of Mortgage Lenders said just 32,000 loans worth a total of £4.7 billion had been approved during January - a figure down significantly on December's figure and one that "emphatically demonstrated" the impact of the holiday's end.

The coldest winter for 30 years has witnessed insurers pay out more than £650 million in weather-related claims, a trade body has revealed.
The Association of British Insurers said 335,000 claims had been made between December 18 and January 13 when the country was hit by heavy snow and freezing temperatures. Of these, the biggest area was car insurance, where firms paid out £395 million on 268,400 cases.

A new survey has revealed that the number of people unhappy with their broadband connection speed has increased by a third this year, leaving 30% of respondents dissatisfied.
Broadband Choices said that the increased access to super-fast broadband had meant more people were becoming fed up of their connection speed being slow. As a result, 28% had decided to change suppliers for better speeds.

The car scrappage scheme was not only beneficial to motorists and car sales, but the environment also, it has emerged.
A study by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) found new cars got greener last year, with the 09 and 59 plate vehicles emitting 149.5g of CO2 per one kilometre last year - a 5.4% drop on the figure in 2008.

Around £2.85 million was paid out in insurance claims to motorists in February because their cars were damaged by potholes.
Insurers dealt with the equivalent of 1,900 claims over pothole damage, AA Insurance said. The firm added that the number of motorists claiming for damage done by potholes had gone up by around 600% in three years.
