When we’re not busy saving you pounds, we’re busy raising them!
At Confused.com we’re passionate about giving back to the community. Each year employees vote for the charity that they’d like the whole company to support. Once chosen, we’re ambassadors for that chosen charity.
This year our staff will be taking part in loads of events – such as bake sales, tombola, spinathon and pub quizzes to raise money for these charities.
The list doesn’t stop there. At least 20 members of staff will also be taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge in June. They’ll have to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – all in under 24 hours!
We've joined together to raise money for two very special charities: LATCH and Sports Disability Wales. To make a donation, please visit our charity fundraising page.
Charity of the year: Disability Sport Wales
‘Transforming lives through the power of sport’, Disability Sport Wales helps to remove barriers that prevent an active lifestyle for disabled children and young people. It does this by creating a safe, welcoming and knowledgeable environment where sports take place.
“We now have over 23,000 disabled people who are members of sports clubs enjoying over 1.4m participation opportunities annually.”
This year a team of keen golfers from Confused.com are taking part in the annual charity golf tournament for Disability Sports Wales.
Charity of the year: LATCH
The Welsh Children’s Cancer Charity supports children and their families who are being treated at the oncology unit at the Children’s Hospital of Wales. Providing on-site accommodation for parents and funding medical equipment for the oncology unit is just a small part of what they do.
No challenge is too big or small. We endeavour to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charities.
