How to get a reward

Compare & buy car, home or van insurance

Once you’ve bought car, home or van insurance through Confused.com, you can add your reward to your wallet in the Confused.com app.

Add your reward to your wallet

Add £20 to your wallet within 60 days of buying your policy. We’ll then need to verify your purchase which usually takes 3 days but can take up to 14 days.

Redeem with 100+ brands

Once verified, you can redeem your balance by choosing from our huge range of brands. Redeem your balance in one go or split across multiple eGift-Cards. You can then spend your eGift Cards online or in store.

Once you’ve added your reward to your wallet and we’ve verified your purchase, you’ll automatically get a free coffee every month for a year in the Confused.com app.

I’ve bought car, home or van insurance. How do I get my reward?

Start by downloading or opening the Confused.com app. Then, go to the "Rewards" section and log in to your account.

Once logged in, tap "Add reward to wallet." We'll need to verify your purchase by checking some details about your policy, such as your policy number and the insurance company you chose. This can take up to 14 working days.

After your reward is verified, you'll receive an email or push notification letting you know it's ready to use. You can then redeem your wallet balance with our range of brands.

How do I choose an eGift Card?

Once you’ve added your reward to your wallet, tap ‘Redeem’ to convert your wallet balance to an eGift Card.

Remember, you can split your wallet balance across multiple eGift Cards if you’d like – just make sure you redeem your wallet balance within 6 months of adding it to your wallet.

How do the eGift Cards work?

First choose to redeem your reward with a choice of over 100 brands and we’ll send you your eGift card.  Each eGift Card will come with clear instructions on how to use it. We’ll let you know whether you can use your eGift Card online or in-store before you select it.

The expiry date will be conveniently displayed on the eGift Card itself, so you can keep track of it. You can view your eGift card in the Confused.com app for up to 3 months. 

How will I know once my reward is ready?

Once verified, the reward value is added to your wallet and an email or push notification is sent to you. To turn on push notifications, go to “Notifications settings” In the settings section of the Confused.com app.

Who can claim?

All customers who buy car, home or van insurance! You will get a £20 Egift voucher - plus year round hot drinks from Greggs.

How many times can I claim?

Every time you buy car, home or van insurance! Get a £20 reward with every purchase you make. You can either spend the £20 as soon as it’s in your wallet, or you can build up your wallet value with more purchases. You will have 6 months from when the £20 is added to your wallet, to use it. 

When will I get my free hot drinks?

Once your reward claim has been verified, your first monthly hot drink will be available in the app. You can then access monthly coffees from the 1st of each month.

Do I need to download the app in order to access my reward?

Yes, your reward is only accessible through the Confused.com app Android version 9 and above, or iOS 15.1 or later. For more information or to download the app please see our app page.

Can I access my reward without logging in to my account?

No, to redeem or use your reward you’ll need to be logged in. If you’re not logged in, we can’t verify or save any rewards in your wallet.
