Freedom Brokers policy details
Freedom Brokers offers a range of comprehensive car insurance cover:
Freedom Standard is the company’s ‘value insurance’ offering, with the option to bolt on a range of policy upgrades as and when you like.
Freedom Extra includes legal expenses cover at a discounted price.
Freedom Extra Plus includes legal expenses cover along with Roadside Breakdown, both with discounts applied.
Freedom to Drive is Freedom Brokers’ telematics policy. It includes an easy self-fitting device that can help to reduce the cost of your insurance. A telematics device records data relating to your driving behaviour: how fast you drive, how quickly you brake, and the distance you drive.
For all policies in the Freedom Brokers’ car insurance range, there is access to a wide panel of established insurers – including Pukka, Ageas, Covea Insurance, Financial & Legal, Lexelle, Premier, Sabre Insurance, Southern Rock and Zenith Insurance.
Freedom Brokers does not currently offer multi-vehicle policies but does offer you a range of mirrored no-claims bonus (NCB) schemes.
This means that if you have built up a no-claims bonus on your insurance policy for one vehicle, you can use that bonus on a different car. This is not the same as transferring your no-claims bonus from one vehicle to another. With a mirrored no-claims bonus, you effectively enjoy the discount on both vehicles at the same time.
Freedom Brokers positions itself as a broker that offers insurance to those frequently overlooked by traditional insurers.
This is backed up by the recent addition of its telematics 'black box' insurance policy. Telematics are frequently favoured by younger and inexperienced drivers who have not built up any no-claims history.
Freedom Brokers give you an upfront discount for agreeing to have the telematics box fitted in your car. By documenting how well and safely you drive, the broker may be able to offer you an increased discount on next year's renewal price.
Freedom Brokers offers a selection of car insurance policies and types. Not all policies and types are available through our site, so the exact levels of cover and benefits may vary. Before buying car insurance, we recommend you check the cover and benefits included.
