Ebico Energy has been around since the late 1990s. It's a not-for-profit organisation and carefully chooses which ventures it invests in. Ebico is dedicated to tackling climate change. It sets its domestic gas and electricity prices to be fair and scores highly in customer service in a Which? customer satisfaction survey conducted in 2009.

Ebico's first product was EQUIGAS which was aimed at lower-income households. EQUIPOWER, Ebico's electricity product followed in 2002.

Ebico also has a green energy service called EQUICLIMATE which is designed for people who want to reduce their carbon footprint.
