Who is Insurance Republic travel insurance?

Parent company Avidia Limited established Insurance Republic in 2008 with the aim to be “one of the best insurance providers in the UK”.

The West Sussex-based broker concentrates on offering three main types of insurance – travel, gadget and holiday home cover. The broker relies solely on its multi-lingual UK call centres to provide support and medical emergency services.

All Insurance Republic travel insurance policies come with at least £10 million of cover for medical emergency treatment and repatriation to the UK.

It’s worth noting that Insurance Republic travel insurance policies also include emergency medical cover for travellers who contract coronavirus.

Operating mainly as an internet insurance provider, the company prides itself on having top-class online security encryption. There's also a user-friendly self-management facility for customers.
