Hastings Premier motorbike insurance policy details
Unlike with many motorbike insurance providers, Hastings Premier offers certain perks as standard, including helmet and leathers cover. You're also covered for driving in Europe for up to 90 days and there's no excess if you’re involved in an incident with an uninsured motorist.
Hastings bike insurance comes in two packages - Direct and Premier. The main difference between them is in the features they offer as standard.
For example, the Premier insurance policy comes with £100,000 of legal protection and of course offers helmet and leathers cover for claims up to £1,000.
If you own more than 1 motorbike, you can also get Hastings multi bike insurance. To get this, call Hastings Direct on 0333 321 9675
There are 3 levels of Hastings motorbike insurance:
Third party only provides the most basic level of cover. If you're involved in an incident, your Hastings Direct bike insurance policy should pick up the tab for damages caused to another party. However, your own expenses aren't covered.
Third party, fire and theft cover has all the benefits of third party only cover. It also ensures you're not saddled with a bill if you're motorbike is stolen or in the event of a fire.
Comprehensive is the top level of protection that gives you all the benefits of third party, fire and theft cover. It also covers you and your motorcbike for damage and injury, plus any injury to other people or damage to their property.
Some might assume that comprehensive cover is the most expensive but in many cases the price difference between this and the lowest level of protection is marginal. It's worth getting a quote to compare the different levels of cover.
Hastings offers a selection of motorbike insurance policies, so the exact levels of cover and benefits of the policies offered when you get a quote may vary. Before buying Hastings motorbike insurance, we recommend that you check the cover and benefits included.
