No tan 'is biggest holiday worry'

The single biggest annoyance for people on holiday is not getting "a decent tan", according to a travel agent's survey.

This seems to cause more worry than losing a passport or luggage, or even missing a flight, sunshine.co.uk's poll of 1,672 people suggests.

Poor accommodation and weather, running out of money and an unsuitable resort were also high on the list of gripes.

Those interviewed for the survey had been away somewhere hot in the past two years.

Only around half never allowed any worries to ruin their holiday and a third were too cautious when getting ready to go on their trip.

The top 10 worries for holidaymakers, according to the website, are: not getting a tan, losing a passport, missing luggage, missing a flight, unsatisfactory accommodation, bad weather, running out of money, disliking a resort, getting ill, and sunburn.
