Travel insurance companies face a jump in claims as the London-to-Brussels services of Channel Tunnel high-speed train company Eurostar are suspended for a third day after the Belgian train crash.
Passengers can exchange their tickets or get a refund, said the company. Eurostar also reduced services to Lille in northern France because of the crash, in which at least 18 people were killed.
The firm said passengers who were due to travel on this route were "strongly advised to postpone or cancel their journeys" although services between London and Paris/Disneyland Resort Paris are operating normally.
Monday's crash at Halle, near Brussels, was at the point where commuter and high-speed lines meet, preventing Eurostar and other train companies from being able to operate in the area. Eurostar axed all of trains on Tuesday to and from the Belgian capital and have now announced a third day of axing services from London to Brussels.
