British holidaymakers who are toying with the idea of going abroad in the coming months will have a plethora of flights to choose from after it emerged that airlines are starting more than 120 new services from UK airports this summer.
Aviation analysis company anna-ero revealed that airline Jet2.com is launching 24 new services, while Ryanair has unveiled 19 new routes from UK airports as part of its plan to start more than 100 new services across Europe.

Worldwide, airlines are operating more than 800 new routes this summer season. The number of seats being offered on flights leaving Europe at the moment is 19.36 million - a 2.6% rise on the same period last year.
The sector with the biggest increase for this summer compared last year is Asia, where the number of seats on offer has risen by 10.5%.
