Winsurance Competition Full Terms and Conditions
General
- The promotion is open to residents of Great Britain, the Isle of Man and Channel Islands only, excluding Northern Ireland, employees and their immediate families of confused.com, the Admiral Group, their agencies or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
- Entrants must be 17 years or over and hold a valid UK full driving licence. confused.com may ask any entrant to provide proof of age and/ or country of residence and/or evidence of driving licence.
- The promotion begins at 00.01 on 7th September and closes at 23.59 on 1st November 2009.
- Purchase necessary - in order to be entered a person must purchase car insurance through confused.com during the promotional period.
- Consumers can purchase multiple car insurance policies. Each purchase will automatically enter you into the promotion where there are eight cars available to be won.
- Each car insurance policy purchased between 7th September and 1st November will be grouped by week of purchase into eight groups.
- One winner will be randomly selected under independent supervision from each group on 22nd December.
- Each winner can choose from one of the eight cars available as displayed on www.confused.com/winsurance. This selected car will include 6 months Road Fund Licence and 12 months comprehensive insurance. The insurance will be provided by EUI Limited, subject to underwriting criteria and up to a maximum value of £1,000.
- The eight winners will be notified by email or telephone by 24th December 2009. To obtain your prize you will liaise directly with a project manager whose details will be supplied to you and who will guide you through your prize options.
- If the promoter is unable to contact the winners within 30 working days, the prize will be forfeited. A new winner will then be randomly selected from the relevant group.
- By entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
- If a participant wishes to opt-out of the competition after entering, please send an email stating your wishes to communications@confused.com.
- Losing entries will not receive any notification.
- The winner must be available to collect the award in person and the prize must be registered in the winners name.
- The names and counties of prize winners will be available upon request by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to; BD NETWORK CONFUSED.COM promotion, Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6PQ after 1st March 2010.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to provide alternative prizes of equal or greater value.
- In all cases the promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No cash alternative will be offered in whole or in part.
- Limitations of liability: neither the promoter nor the promotional parties assume any responsibility or liability for:
- Any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions
- Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion
- Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof
- Any injury or damage to participants or to any other persons computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the promotion
- Winners may be required to take part in related publicity and such participation is a condition of accepting a prize
- This promotion and these terms and conditions of entry are governed by English Law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this promotion.
