For our travel insurance partners to provide an accurate online quote the following assumptions are made:

The insured (proposer and any one covered by the policy)

All live in the UK
All are travellers under the age of 75 - please note travellers under 18 or over 65 may have reduced cover or additional terms applied
Are not aware of any reason for the trip to be cancelled or cut short
Are not awaiting surgery or any form of medical investigation, or are travelling against medical advice - please note some providers won't cover travellers who are more than 20 weeks pregnant, please check policy before purchasing
Have not had travel insurance refused, cancelled or any special terms imposed
Have not received any criminal convictions for fraud, dishonesty or deception in the last 5 years
Have had less than 3 travel insurance claims in the last 3 years
The policy will cover at least one adult and no more than 4 children

The trip to be insured

Is not a cruise booking
Is not more than 31 days in duration
Has not already commenced
Won't involve any unusual, hazardous or dangerous activities - please see insurer specific policy details for definitions
