Confused.com is giving away £1m? Why would we do such a thing?

We know that once you've used Confused.com, and seen just how much money you can save on your car or your home insurance, you tend not to look back. Shopping around for insurance is no longer the time-consuming activity it used to be, as we can put the legwork in for you.

Many of you are aware of the Confused.com magic, and return to us again and again when your policy is due for renewal. However, many are also still unsure. So we thought - how could we persuade them to give us a go?

That's when we came up with the £1million draw - the opportunity for one of our customers to become the first 'Confusionaire'!

...And this awesome opportunity isn't limited only to new customers. Our regular customers can try their luck too. All they have to do is run a new car or home insurance quote. Or - even easier - amend an old one.

How will the lucky winner be chosen?

We've asked one of the UK's leading accountancy firms to independently supervise the process and do the draw. When the closing date arrives, we will supply the firm with a full list of everyone who has run a car insurance or home insurance quote through Confused.com.

Entries will be limited to two per person - one entry for car insurance, one for home insurance. So getting a quote for both will double your chances of winning!

The accountancy firm will then pick out a winner at random. They will verify that the chosen entry is a genuine quote with accurate information. And if we're happy that it is, then we'll write a cheque for a cool million. As simple as that.
