1. Buy in bulk!
If you are going to be making more than two or three trips in a year, an annual/multi-trip travel policy will often be much cheaper than taking out individual policies for each journey. It will also save you a lot of time and effort! So if you regularly take to the road, seas or sky, why not get an umbrella policy for the lot.
2. Pair off!
You may be able to lower your travel insurance premium by purchasing joint cover if you are travelling as a couple, rather than buying individual policies. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to be in a relationship either - you could pair off with a friend.
