Lloyds TSB adds value to mobile phone cover

Lloyds TSB has been responding to customer requirements by adding value to its current accounts. During its research in to customer satisfaction, the company found that 75% of customers were reasonably satisfied with their current mobile phone protection. One in three customers, however, did express an interest in increased benefits offered by their plans.

Increased insurance protection and a contact phone number back up programme were the benefits most often mentioned by customers. The company responded by increasing insurance protection up to £2,000 to better cover rising costs of cell phones, iPhones, and Blackberries.

It also developed its Save My Numbers™ plan to help back up cell phone numbers for customers.

With many Brits relying more and more on mobile technology to manage their personal and career relationships, Lloyds wants to be a leading provider of value added protection services. Many cell phone users are frustrated at the loss of key personal or business contacts stored in their phone and wanted a way to back up this information.
