Stress and long-term high blood pressure can cause health complications, that's why the Confused.com life insurance team are on a mission to de-stress and revolutionise your life this January.
There are many different ways people de-stress, but gadgets and technology have infiltrated our homes and lives, allowing us the convenience to organise our lifestyle, entertain us, relax us and allow more "me" time.
This January, we're not looking for your New Year's resolution such as the usual eat less, drink less and exercise more.
Instead, if you had the choice of picking one gadget for 2013 that would make your life that much easier and stress-free, what would it be?
The prizes
For one lucky winner, we're giving away the choice of one top gadget that will make your life that little bit easier and free from stress.
Tablets and smartphones are the gadgets of choice at the moment, but instead of choosing for you, we thought we'd let you decide what works best for you so we're offering the grand prize winner their choice of a gadget up to the value of £500.
What's more, as the life insurance team has been busy testing stress-busting gifts. There's a stress-busting goodie from our luck dip bag for 25 randomly selected entrants to help you on your way.
How to enter
Write a short post on your blog telling us the ideal real-life gadget that would de-stress and revolutionise your life in 2013.
Just think: if the sky was the limit and money no object, what would be the one real-life gadget you'd get your hands on?
For example, if it's the housework that winds you up, it could be a robot vacuum cleaner.
Or, if you think exercise might help you de-stress, maybe your ideal gadget would be a treadmill.
Perhaps you simply struggle with organising your time, so a smart-phone or tablet would help you out.
All we want to know is how and why would this one gadget help your life run smoother in 2013.
