Beware alcohol and your daily calorie intake

Most of us know to keep an eye on our calorie intake if we want to live a healthy lifestyle.

The recommended daily intake is around 2500 for men and 2000 for women.

While most people know about the health implications of eating foods high in fat, salt and sugar, not everyone knows that drinking alcohol can also considerably increase your calorie intake.

For example four pints of premium lager contains around 1000 calories - half of a woman's recommended calorie allowance.

Does a high calorie diet hurt your finances?

A healthy lifestyle is the best way to live a longer life and could also help reduce the cost your life insurance.
