You may have noticed that Confused.com has had a bit of a makeover. We think that it’s a lot easier on the eye, and hope that you do too.

However, the changes aren’t merely cosmetic. We’ve done our utmost to ensure that using Confused.com is a much more pleasurable experience all round. To make your life easier, we’ve added a few things… And taken away a few things.

What we’ve added

One of the things we’ve added that we’re happiest about is a greater ability to customise. You can now easily tailor your level of cover to your exact requirements – your best fit! It’s now much simpler to tweak your excess, add other named drivers… All sorts. Plus we can tell you how it’ll affect your premium before you commit.

And it’s a doddle to filter policies with specific features. For example, once you’ve filled in your form and have been presented with a long list of car insurance policies, you may only wish to compare policies which would provide a courtesy car. With the new Confused.com best fit system, you can just choose which feature you wish to highlight, and the policies will be highlighted accordingly.

In short – we don’t want you to be lumbered with a policy that isn’t exactly what you want, so we’ve made it as easy to mould into shape as we can.

What we’ve taken away

The amount of questions on our insurance forms has been reduced, so it should be quicker to fill out than ever before. We’ve done this by catering later questions to your previous responses… Just because we’ve streamlined our forms, doesn’t mean we’ve cut corners. We don’t make assumptions in order to shorten the form, as we still want your policy to cater for your specific circumstances. At Confused.com, we appreciate that detail is important!
