Since 2005, children across the UK have been given a financial boost by the government through the introduction of child trust funds.
This year though, the number of children in the UK who have a child trust fund will likely surpass the five million barrier, with more than £22m being deposited into children’s accounts every month.
The child trust fund appears to be playing a crucial role in helping tomorrow’s 18 year olds enter adulthood with a tangible asset which will offer them real choice for their future.
