Trio team up to help green drivers

An energy firm has teamed up with two motoring giants to offer electric vehicle recharging products and services.

Peugeot and Citroën have joined forces with EDF Energy to create a one-stop-shop for owners of the new Peugeot iOn or a Citroën C-Zero.

They will offer a free home survey and the installation of a dedicated charging point, meaning drivers would be able to benefit from charging times up to 35 per cent faster.

The package also includes a timer for off-peak recharging, a smart meter and an EV consumption statement which shows the cost of charging the car.

The deal will also apply to business fleet customers, who will receive a range of recharging products and services, including a range of recharging products, installation services and smart metering technology.
