The 4x4 vehicle found on top of Snowdon last month has re-appeared on the mountain.
In a bizarre twist in the tale, the vehicle has been left on the summit again, this time with a note in the windscreen claiming it will be sold on an internet auction site in aid of the local mountain rescue teams.
The Vauxhall Frontera was parked near the visitors' centre.
The vehicle's owner, Craig Anthony Williams, 39, from Cheltenham, was last month charged with dangerous driving and is due in court next week.
North Wales Police said on Sunday that a 39-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and causing criminal damage. He has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Snowdonia National Park Authority chief executive Aneurin Phillips said: "This irresponsible behaviour is totally unacceptable and I urge the police to prosecute the offender and impound and dispose of the vehicle."
