Vauxhall Agila car insurance

The Vauxhall Agila is a city car (small hatchback) that has been available on our roads since 2000. Available with five doors only (unlike most small cars, which often come in three door versions), the Agila is considered roomy for such a compact car and the rear seats can even fold completely flat; perfect for moving home or doing month's worth of shopping.

Not only is the Agila Vauxhall's cheapest model (with prices starting from £8,495*), but it also falls under a low insurance group (between 4 and 12) and sits among the lower tax bands, making it a good run around for city driving.

The table below could give you some insight into how much the insurance could be for your Agila by splitting models by their engine sizes, typical insurance groups and tax bands. Alternatively, take a few minutes to run a quote for a more accurate premium.

Christina became famous in the Agila era

  • Production - 2000 - present
  • Class - City car
  • Also called - Suzuki Splash and Opel Agila

The Vauxhall Agila is a re-skinned version of the Suzuki SX4 and was built in the same factory. You are more likely to see an Agila than an SX4 in the UK, however, as the GM marque is more popular than the Japanese brand on our fair island.

The Agila is now in its second generation, which came out in 2008.

It may seem strange, but the Agila has never been tested by Euro NCAP, despite it having been around for many years.
